YARRAM CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL COMMENCES

This year the decorated trees will be around the theme of the Brightest Christmas. Each will also bear a special bauble with a letter; collect all the letters, discover the secret Christmas word, visit (venues to be confirmed watch this space) to receive your prize.

OUR NATIVITY EXHIBITION IS GROWING 12th - 16th December

The exhibition will commence on Saturday 12th and run until Wednesday 16th. Please bring your Nativity Scenes to the hall or drop into the Rectory from December 9th.

Our Exhibition will include:
- An Advent Selfie Spot where families can dress up as characters from the first Christmas, stand in our purpose built backdrop and take a photo for their use, perhaps for a Christmas card, calendar or email.
- A Christmas gift shop with items for sale from Koorong Christian Bookshop; our selection will include: books, DVDs, CDs, Nativity figurines and Christmas decorations all with a Christian message.
To be a success we need your help please indicate your availability on the sign-up sheet in the foyer at Holy Trinity. We need volunteers to: welcome people, run the gift shop, help out with the dress-ups at the Selfie Spot.

COMBINDED CHURCHES CHRISTMAS CAROLS at the Regent Theatre Sunday 13th December 7.30pm This year is hosted by the Uniting Church. We have volunteered to assist by preparing some additional advertising, setting up the hall on Sunday and taking up the offering. If you are able to assist with any of this jobs please speak to Reverend Jo or a Parish Councillor.

TEAR CHRISTMAS TRADING TABLE Ken will be running a Tear Useful Gift Shop this Advent. Each gift purchased contributes to a better tomorrow for people living in poverty.
Tear was the first aid organisation to offer gifts for this type. You might like to buy a chicken to help women feed their families and provide an income by selling eggs or perhaps you could buy a goat that would provide meat, milk and cheese as well as provide a source of income via breeding and selling goats and produce. There is a Tear Gift for every budget from just $5 to $250.
