Ken is an
Anglican Priest who retired from Foster in October 2006 to live in Forest Hill, Melbourne.
After
schooling he studied Applied Physics at RMIT, worked as a Technician at
Melbourne University, was a Warden of an Overseas Students Hostel in Carlton
and as a youth worker prior to marriage and then theological studies.
He and his
wife Susan have ministered in Ceduna, Forest Hill, Geraldton and since
retirement have done many Locums including a stint in Katherine.
In November
2012 -for three months Ken lived in East Jerusalem and Susan was living in Bethlehem as human rights observers. His interest
and involvement in the Mission to Seafarers stretches over twenty years
and he currently serves on the Board in Melbourne. Ken is looking forward to
sharing with us on Sea Sunday.

Anglicare celebrates its 20th
Year after amalgamating three of the most experienced child and family welfare
agencies: The Mission of St James and St John, St John’s Homes for Boys and
Girls, and the Mission to Streets and Lanes. Today we give thanks and celebrate
the work of Anglicare in Victoria and especially in this Diocese of Gippsland.

of a special appeal. If you wish to make a donation to help celebrate over 260
years of aiding vulnerable people in the community please feel free to do so,
using the provided envelope. Today is Thanksgiving day for the wonderful work
Anglicare do.

usual full of interest.
A newsletter, too, from the Brotherhood of St.Laurence,; inspiring stories of
work with refugees and asylum seekers, particularly the Homework Club and
