LENT BEGINS WEDNESDAY 18th FEBRUARY
YOU ARE INVITIED TO CELEBRATE SHROVE TUESDAY at the Rectory
6.00pm Tuesday 17th February. This event will include a meal of
savoury and sweet pancakes, burning of palm crosses and preparation of incense
nails for our Pascal Candle. TODAY IS THE LAST OPPORTUNITY TO ADD YOUR NAME TO
THE LISTS AT CHURCH.
Ash Wednesday 18th February at Holy Trinity Yarram –
10.30am Imposition of Ashes including Holy Communion. 7.00pm Imposition of Ashes with Evening Prayer followed by Lenten Study #1
LENTEN STUDY GROUPS –
Study for Lent entitled The God of Life by Bishop John
Harrower. God of Life is a five part study based on the readings used in church each
week of Lent. You may join a group at any time and even swap between groups as
your calendar dictates.

Connect Group meets at Coffee Palace Wednesdays 3.45pm
Won Wron Group meets weekly during Lent Tuesdays 6pm dinner; 7pm

Port Albert Group meets weekly at St John’s Raglan
