PEW SHEET 6th December

Christmas is Coming

Traditional Nine Lessons and Carols Sunday 6th Dec - Holy Trinity Yarram 7.30pm followed by some Christmas Cheer.

YARRAM CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL Take a drive or a walk after the sun goes down and enjoy the fabulous Christmas lights on the cypress tree at Holy Trinity and the Nativity Scene at the Rectory. Thank you to the fellas who climbed ladders to put these things in place.

Go for a walk around the shops in Yarram and view all the decorated Christmas Trees. This year the decorated trees will be around the theme of the Brightest Christmas. Each will also bear a special bauble with a letter; collect all the letters, discover the secret Christmas word, visit Claudio’s Coffee Shop or The Coffee Palace to receive your prize.

Before you know it a forest of trees will be popping up in all sorts of unexpected places thanks to the work of the Yarram Men’s Shed, Wellington Shire, Bunnings Sale and students from local schools. Yeah team!!!

Holy Trinity Hall 12th - 16th December 10am - 3pm
The exhibition will commence on Saturday 12th and run until Wednesday 16th. Please bring your Nativity Scenes to the hall or drop into the Rectory from December 9th.
Our Exhibition will include:
  • An Advent Selfie Spot where families can dress up as characters from the first Christmas, stand in our purpose built backdrop and take a photo for their use, perhaps for a Christmas card, calendar or email.
  • A Christmas gift shop with items for sale from Koorong Christian Bookshop; our selection will include: books, DVDs, CDs, Nativity figurines and Christmas decorations all with a Christian message.
