PEW SHEET 6th December

Christmas is Coming

Traditional Nine Lessons and Carols Sunday 6th Dec - Holy Trinity Yarram 7.30pm followed by some Christmas Cheer.

YARRAM CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL Take a drive or a walk after the sun goes down and enjoy the fabulous Christmas lights on the cypress tree at Holy Trinity and the Nativity Scene at the Rectory. Thank you to the fellas who climbed ladders to put these things in place.

Go for a walk around the shops in Yarram and view all the decorated Christmas Trees. This year the decorated trees will be around the theme of the Brightest Christmas. Each will also bear a special bauble with a letter; collect all the letters, discover the secret Christmas word, visit Claudio’s Coffee Shop or The Coffee Palace to receive your prize.

YARRAM’S OWN CHRISTMAS TREE TRAIL
Before you know it a forest of trees will be popping up in all sorts of unexpected places thanks to the work of the Yarram Men’s Shed, Wellington Shire, Bunnings Sale and students from local schools. Yeah team!!!

Prayer for The Appointments Board -
Continue to pray for those charged with discerning the candidate for the position of Bishop in our Diocese:
Eternal God, shepherd and guide,
in your mercy give your Church in this diocese of Gippsland a shepherd after your own heart
who will walk in your ways, and with loving care watch over your people.
Give us a leader of vision and a teacher of your truth.
So may your Church be built up and your name glorified;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
